Sustainability in Our Community: Green and Sustainable Schools
This full day workshop, offered in conjunction with the 6th annual Green Building Conference, focuses on the integrated themes of economics, education and design, and environment and energy. Participants will learn strategies for planning and implementing green building technologies to improve K-16 education.
This Workshop will apply to re-licensing for professionals. It is anticipated that participants will earn five (5) Professional Development Hours (PDHs) or (.5) Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for attending. Earned PDHs count toward the required New York State-mandated professional development training.

The workshop begins with a continental breakfast starting at 7:45. The educational program runs from 8:30 - 5:30.
Program Costs
The cost for this program is $125. prior to March 5, 2008, $145. after March 5. Registration for this workshop plus the Green Building Conference on March 28 is $185 if registration is received prior to March 5. This price includes all program materials, continental breakfast, and lunch.
